Makeup Junkie (Confessions)

Hello lovlies,

As you all already know I have a love which borders on obsession for all things beautiful, which most definitely include makeup.  As a result I have become a massive makeup hoarder over the years and continue to collect all sorts of gorgeous, palettes, blushes, lipsticks and more, creating a dragon-like nest.

Since breaking into the social media world on Facebook, Instagram, Deviantart and the like I have wanted to share my passion with like minded people.  Unfortunately, I do not yet Youtube which seems to be the largest way to get yourself out there.  For the moment I must satisfy myself with Instagraming pictures and talking here.

So, her is a collective haul of some of the key items that I have purchased or received over the past six months.  I will be posting reviews on some of the newer items soon, such as the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette and Naked on the go.  I hope you enjoy.

Shimmering Naked Dolly, Shimmering Spice Spice Baby, Shimmering Marshmallow Bunny

To start off, one of my FAVORITE things to get is new lipstick.  I have way too many than any normal girl should have.  But, that goes without saying for my whole collection.  These three are the Two Faced Under the Mistletoe holiday collection and are simply gorgeous.  They are pigmented, moisturizing and chock full of Christmas sparkle.

Lollipop, Juicy Melons, So Berry Sexy

On the subject of Two Faced, these are three of my favorite lipsticks from them.  I've had them for awhile now, and am still in love.  The colors are fantastic and go one smooth as butter.  Plus, the names are adorable.

Let Them Eat Cake, Stella!

These products were a major splurge for me quite some time ago.  I adore these lipsticks for their quality, luxe packaging and unbeatable color.  If anyone is looking for a dupe of Mac's discontinued Cyber, try out Lipstick Queen's Stella!  It is almost a complete match.

Dollface, Tipsy, Captivating, Flush

I am a bad, bad, bad, blush buyer.  I purchase them like I would eye-shadows; based on if I like the color and not really caring about my skin tone.  So far I've only had a few bad mishaps with a wrong tone, and I'm glad to say that these Tarte beauties are not one of them.  I cannot get enough of these blushes.  The color is gorgeous, plus they are all natural and go on without looking cakey.

Peach Beach

(Bows head in shame).  Another blush and another Too Faced product.  I must say that if you were to purchase just one high end blush your entire life, it would have to be this one.  First off, the packaging is ADORABLE and the product is amazing.  It lends you color, highlight and shimmer all in one magical sweep which sends me off to a tropical island somewhere.

Milk Chocolate Soleil, Sun Bunny, Snow Bunny)

Bronzers are something that I have been slowly trying to get into because in the Summer I tend to get rather tan due to my genetic heritage.(Yay for being Jewish!) I was skeptical at first, because when I though bronzers I got pictures of Jersey Shore in my head.  I did not want to get my Snooky on.  I was told to try Too Faced ones and ever since picking up my first(not shown) I have been slowly collecting them all.  They are amazing and anything with the word chocolate in it ACTUALLY smells like chocolate.  (Shut up and take my money!)

And finally, we come to the palettes.  Some new and some old and trusted.  I am definitely addicted to palettes.  Honestly, I used to think they were stupid because they took up so much space, and now I gravitate towards them like it's heroin.  The Too Faced Cat Eyes palette is one of the greats.  Perfect for beginners and full fledged junkies.  You can wet the three darker shades and use as eye liners.

Beauty Wishes & Sweet Kisses

Basically, if it's made by Too Faced I want it.  Their products make me feel like the girly girl I am inside.  I just feel like a princess.  This is their holiday special (small) palette and has gorgeous packaging.  Plus, the price cannot be beat.  Mine was a gift but it was less than twenty, which is a crazy steal.

Naked 2 Basics
If anyone knows me they are aware that I am a huge fan of Urban Decay's Naked line.  This collection really brought neutrals to light for me.  Their Naked Basic palettes are the best for on the go and contouring.  They are sleek, small and easy to travel with.  I cannot wait for the third one.  Bring me that rose gold!

Naked On The Run

Speaking of Urban Decay Naked, the newest kid on the block is this travel palette, which comes with a brand new gloss, eye liner and some of their most coveted shades, along with a classic bronzer/blush duo.  I did not intend on picking this up, but was gifted it by an Instagram fan I ran into at Sephora.  If you don't own any of the Naked palettes, this would be a great start, since you get the best of everything.

One The Rocks

If any of you remember my November favorite blog, you will recall the Smashbox On The Rocks palette that I absolutely adored for the holidays.  Well, they decided to up the ante and also come up with a palette that has three times the amount of shadows and are all just as fabulous as the first.  Plus it's only like six dollars more!  Who wouldn't want that?!

Shadow Box

Urban Decay is always coming out with new and wonderful ways to take either my money or my friend's money away from us.  This was one of them.  Although I adore Urban Decay they have been on a huge Naked kick and we were all glad when something colorful popped up.  This miniature palette is an Ulta exclusive and well worth being picked up.

Vice 3

And FINALLY, my ultimate Christmas present from the best friend in the whole wide world.  The magnitude of this eye shadow collection cannot be comprehended by my picture here.  It is the size of an ipad and has twenty brand new super saturated shades.  Plus it comes with an amazing slipcase and I cannot describe the packaging.  Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the Vice Three palette.  It is insanely expensive at, sixty dollars a pop, but well worth it since it is limited edition and when they're gone that's it.  This is my new baby and I love it.

Well, there it is, all of my not so guilty pleasures.  I love makeup and am already looking forward to some of the 2015 releases.  Please stay tuned for reviews and swatches of the Vice 3 palette, Shadow Box and One The Rocks.  See you there.

Be True To You. <3 <3 <3
